Losing a parent as a young child is a life changing trauma, more so if the parent committed suicide. Left behind with many questions, kids have very little to no tools to cope, especially in a society that attaches the stigma to the family too, oftening making it impossible to share their feelings with anyone. Working with adults who lost parents in their youth, I question what stories these people carry? How do they look back at their childhood memories?
