Assignment commissioned by the Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant. My photographs were part of an article that was written by Kirsten Hannema about creating silence in the city. I visited three different locations in the Netherlands: a fort in Hoofddorp, a primary school that recently created a tiny forest in Amsterdam and various courtyards in the centre of Rotterdam.

I enjoy collaborating with journalists, researchers or writers, where I hope to add an extra layer to their text with my photography. I also like to work on subjects that break social stigmas and show topics contrary to stereotypes.
